The Missoula strikers football club reached out about a new logo announcement celebrating the blending of the missoula strikers, and football club missoula, two non-profit youth soccer programs. We decided to go with a sports package approach and give it some weight.
It involved taking logos, one which only existed on a 35 year old jersey, making them vector, and bringing them into cinema4d.
I made an animatic to nail down the animation before the fun part of lighting and texturing. I used C4D and Redshift, and finished in After Effects with the help of Redgiant Magic Bullet Looks to help sweeten the light bloom.
